"Cornwall Council is in the process of developing a planning strategy (the Core Strategy) to guide development over the next 20 years. As part of that process the Council is required to consider how to plan for renewable energy, waste and mineral development over the next 20 years.
We are now carrying out a consultation to explore and refine the options for a strategy to manage future renewable energy, minerals and waste development in Cornwall. Once we have completed the consultation and considered your views a draft strategy for renewable energy, minerals and waste will be developed and combined with the wider Core Strategy document. At that point we will consult you again."
