An Interesting and Unusual Volunteering Opportunity

The Prince of Wales Pier needs a volunteer pier warden between April and October, this is an interesting outdoor role with a varied and changing set of tasks.

The role will include monitoring the pier, reporting any damage, assisting tourists, checking rescue equipment, and illegal parking, general maintenance and recording incidents.

No specific skills or qualifications are required but the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people in a variety of situations, a good degree of local knowledge and an interest in engaging with the public and pier users are key for this role.
