Well, what weather we are having! One day its sunny and warm and the next its windy and wet..
It hasnt stopped us though. We have been given several trays of beautiful bedding plants by GWR, and after a couple of hours hard work on Tuesday this week, all plants are safely bedded.
All I can say is, I hope they havent been blown away by the stormy winds today.
I am sure that most people who use our lovely little station appreciate our efforts to keep it looking as nice as possible.

Can you believe its nearly June?
We have been trying to keep the station as tidy and colourful as we possibly can, though the heavy rain last week didnt help as it flattened quite a few of our flowers, although some of the early blooms were going over.
We are hoping to be planting some bedding plants in the next week or so.
We must try to keep our little station looking as lovely as possible as so many people appreciate our efforts.

It has been another hectic and hardworking but enjoyable and ultimately rewarding year for the 'Friends'.
In early April doubleheaded steam made a very welcome appearance at the station again, with the passing of the 'Great Britain V11', a week long nationwide annual excursion, the 2nd day of which ran from Falmouth-Bristol ,hauled by West Country Class 'Braunton' and ex GWR Castle class 'Nunney'. They looked a fine sight on the 13 coach train. Hope that it happens again before too... Read full post

Great news from Falmouth Town Council’s website – this will be welcomed by all local organisations looking for much needed affordable meeting space, as well as by former members of Falmouth One, an organisation active in trying to acquire the Post Office for community use from 2002 to 2005.
Following community consultations around the future delivery of Council services from The Moor, and the community’s request for more meeting space, Falmouth Town Council have taken the... Read full post
